The wife holds the controls
Once linked, the husband sees only the fertility level and the phase name. Everything else is off by default, and the wife decides what gets turned on.
Without his consent, without a waiting period. He receives a neutral message: the connection has ended. There is no “request to reconnect” button.
The default reads “New information in KawanKeluarga”. It never names anyone’s phase or condition anywhere another person could read it.
Not one privacy setting sits behind a subscription. Selling privacy to the people who need it most is not a business model.
Not just a calendar
Basal temperature and cervical mucus are not merely logged and turned into a decorative chart. Both are used to confirm that ovulation actually happened.
When three consecutive readings rise at least 0.2 °C above the previous six, ovulation is marked confirmed — no longer a date prediction. This is the one thing that genuinely raises the reliability of calendar-based methods, so we do not lock it behind a subscription.
Getting it wrong while avoiding pregnancy means an unplanned pregnancy; getting it wrong while trying to conceive means one missed cycle. That is why the avoiding mode uses a far more cautious calculation, not the same calendar in different colours.

New users are not handed a confident-looking forecast invented out of zero cycles. The app holds back until it has enough data, and says plainly that it cannot estimate yet.

That is the everyday-use figure, and we put it on the front page instead of in the fine print of the terms. KawanKeluarga is not a contraceptive and never uses the word “safe” — only “lower risk”. If you need certainty, see a midwife or an obstetrician.
